John Vesco Real Estate Core Values and Beliefs John Vesco real estate was born out of the concept that real estate companies were charging home sellers inflated rates due to the high fees required by the national franchises. Real estate agents were working hard for a very small split of the commissions while the broker/owners enjoyed massive profits. Additionally, the broker/owners were garnering additional fees from the individual agents in the form of referral fees, franchise fees, desk fees, brochures, signs, etc. In addition to the agencies profiting from the individual agents the agents were required to pay for all or a portion of advertising for their respective listings. Further, I came to understand that contemporary technology had leveled the playing field between the largest real estate company and the smallest real estate company. The internet, homes magazines, billboard companies and postal service do not provide a different level of service to smaller companies. I also realized that today’s home buyers and sellers are more educated than in the past and are doing research on buying or selling a property before they ever contact a Realtor. With these things in mind a system was born and continues to evolve whereby the individual agent is empowered to keep the leads they generate without loosing the perspective revenue to fellow agents, the agency, or competitors. By using technology the agent is no longer a slave to the agency through an antiquated system but is empowered to have a balanced and fruitful life both professionally and personally.
